 The FAQs provides answers to most queries but this section is dedicated to questions on rent and bills calculations.
The table looks complicated, help!? It looks more complicated than it is.  Just focus on one column with your rent value. 
Then find the table colour which best decribes your agreement (or use the jump link). 
Your rent is contained within only 4 cells one above each other.
The first figure representing the first quarter may be a smaller amount; subsequent 3 figures will be larger and all the same amount:
Full summer rent with no advanced rent
Full Summer rent with £325 advanced rent with or without summer bills
Half summer rent with £325 advanced rent
Half summer rent but not yet paid advanced rent!
Full summer rent - £325 advanced rent - £56.33 July & August
Do we have to pay bills when we are absent Not during July and August but yes during all other times including Christmas Easter.  If you wish to provide your own bills package you can.  Some things like the internet may be contracted ans so you could not opt out of the whole packeage.
My room is £77pw? How much is that per calendar month Follow the left column down to see headings Weekly Rent. When you arrive at your known weekly rent (in this case £77 stop and move down this column.  Keep an eye on the left description column stop at =  Tot. pcm. The simple answer is £333.67.  However this excludes other factors like summer rent where your contract permits a reduction. Add the cost of bills if adopting the current bills package of £13 pp pw.
Does rent include bills? No!  At the time of writing bills cost an additional £13pp pw.

How much is the rent and bills pw pp? If your rent is £77pw add £13 = £90 inclusive pp pw.
How much is the rent and bills per month pp? Continue down the same column until you arrive at the category matching your rent and your agreement or click one of the links at Question 1.
How much is the rent and bills per quarter pp? Continue down the same column until you arrive at the category matching your rent and your agreement or click one of the links at Question 1.
My contract says I only pay half rent in summer if I am absent.  How much if I stay over the summer. You pay full rent only if you are present.  You are welcome to stay over summer provided you have notified us prior to our arranging holiday lets.  To calculate the amount simply add any discount back on and also add bills. The tables below may assist you.
