TELEVISION
All houses have at least one 21" or 28" TV. TVs are not provided in bedrooms.
Every bedroom has an aerial socket so you don't have to use TV top aerials with fuzzy pictures in your room.
All Leydon Lettings' houses have digital aerials to obtain the best reception available.
FROM ACADEMIC YEAR 2009 TO 2010 ONWARDS ONLY THE TV AERIAL WILL BE PROVIDED. YOU NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN TELEVISION.
WHERE THE ORIGINAL TV REMAINS YOU MAY USE THIS FOR THE REMAINDER OF ITS LIFE.

An incoming phone line is provided to each houses.
Every bedroom has its own telephone point. |

ENSUITES
Wherever practical we fit en-suites. If a full en-suite cannot be fitted we try to put in your own private shower. Almost 50% of our Canterbury students have private bathrooms. |

DOUBLE BEDS
Provided there is space we will give you a four foot double bed rather than single regardless of whether the room is for one or two students. |

DISWASHERS
Most of our houses have the luxury of a dishwasher.
WHERE DISHWASHERS ARE NOT AVAILABE AT THE ORIGINAL VIEWING THESE ARE NOT PROVIDED. |

NEW WASHER/DRYERS
All houses have a washing machine most with tumble dry facility as well. Most have a maintenance contract. If there is a fault with the machine an engineer is usually able to come out within a few days except during really busy periods when tenants arrive in September. |

OUTSIDE STORAGE
Student workshops or bicycle sheds are present in most gardens and most are for your us.
Garages are retained by the landlord and used to store spares so as to be avaialble at short notice should you need something.

All our houses are within walking Canterbury City centre, universities and colleges.
To make your journey even quicker Canterbury is an excellent area to cycle in. |

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Good bus routes run from nearby some almost directly opposite the house.
National travel is a walk away with the two train stations are at either end of Canterbury City centre and coach services from Canterbury Bus Station. London Stansted, Heathrow and Gatwick airports are only a couple of hours from Canterbury. |

PARKING
Parking is available at all our houses, many with driveways and most with free road side parking.
For those houses nearest the town centre parking permits are available from Canterbury City Council.
You need only produce a copy of your contract to prove you are resident to Canterbury City Council permits dept. |

AMENITIES
An industrial quality pneumatic vacuum cleaner, toaster, steam iron, ironing board, microwave oven and a cordless kettle are all provided as standard. |

CROCKERY, CUTLERY, POTS, PANS, DUVET, PILLOWS, - AND FROM ACADEMIC YEAR 2009 TO 2010 ONWARDS NO INTERNET PROVIDER, DVD OR FREEVIEW.
THE WITHDRAWAL OF INTERNET PROVIDER FOLLOWS A DISPROPORTIONAL VOLUME OF COMPLAINTS FROM STUDENTS UNABLE TO CONNECT COMPUTERS TO THE SERVICE - MOST OFTEN WHERE THERE IS NO FAULT.
(YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT USING THE EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BUT WE WILL NO LONGER BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE).
