No Letting No Fee

  • A No Letting No Fee policy means the landlord pays nothing for the agent's efforts unless a property is let.
  • This is a very common policy
  • Properties can also be managed knowing no fee will result e.g. when an owner does not wish the property to be let but merely wants an agent to keep an eye on it whilst on a long holiday or during a spell in hospital, care etc.  In such circumstances a fee would be agreed reflecting the effort involved as caretaker rather than in the normal cpaacity as letting agent.
