- Basically any housing not part of the Public Rented Sector is in the private rented secotor and the converse.
- Council housing and even privately owned Housing Associations are part of the public rental sector.
- Student houses are part of the private rented sector as are halls of residence - the scale of halls is not viewed as privately owned.
