  • Communal lounges help avoid isolation.
  • Resident wardens occupy their own flats within the block or very local.
  • Alarm buttons are readily available to call for assistance in an emergency.
  • Meals can also be provided depending on the level of dependence or preference.
  • Visitors can visit freely.
  • A high degree of independence is maintained with such support, absent which a higher degree of support might be required e.g. as in care homes.
