Reluctant Landlord
- A Reluctant Landlord is one who, unable to sell a property in which he resides, settles for letting it instead. Meanwhile this provides the former resident owner with the ability to move elsewhere, perhaps to take a job or be with loved ones, etc, until such times as he is able to sell.
- Such a landlord may subsequently upon reflection become an accidental landlord who when discovering the benefits of letting, consciously decide to continue, even when selling would be possible or more viable.
- This landlord may also become an Absent Landlord.
