Claw Back
- Housing benefit overpayments may be clawed back from tenants and even landlords if they were aware the tenant was not entitled e.g. the tenant is no longer resident.
- A similar effect is more recent legislation introducing Rent repayment orders (RROs), where landlords e.g. fail to register a licensable property
