Profile:
Bob Leydon is the owner and director of Leydon Lettings Agent, the co-director of Leydon Lettings Ltd., and a portfolio landlord. 

Bob Leydon let out his first student house in 1987.

His vision was to provide students with luxury housing, banishing the notion that student accommodation could be inferior because each house was “just for students”.

Previously working in building and construction as a painter and decorator, Bob put his skills and experience into renovating student properties. Pioneering the standards of student accommodation in Canterbury, students were provided with newly renovated luxury homes to include double kitchens, double beds, en-suites, extra bedroom power, aerial, ethernet, and USB sockets, additional and over-compliment safety features and much more.

Ultimately, students become professionals who want somewhere to live, so he established a separate arm – Leydon Lettings accommodation for professionals.

With a desire to exchange knowledge and lobby authorities, Bob set up the Canterbury Landlord’s Forum. He continues to aspire to excellence.

He holds the NFOPP Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Property Lettings and Management and is a member of ARLA, SLA, RLA, TPO, Safe Agent (S4887) & NLA.
