Bob Leydon is the owner and director of Leydon Lettings Agent, the co-director of Leydon Lettings Ltd., and a portfolio landlord. Bob Leydon let out his first student house in 1987. His vision was to provide students with luxury housing, banishing the notion that student accommodation could be inferior because each house was “just for students”. Previously working in building and construction as a painter and decorator, Bob put his skills and experience into renovating student properties. Pioneering the standards of student accommodation in Canterbury, students were provided with newly renovated luxury homes to include double kitchens, double beds, en-suites, extra bedroom power, aerial, ethernet, and USB sockets, additional and over-compliment safety features and much more.

Louise was welcomed to Team Leydon in 2013 and has worked in the lettings industry for over a decade; gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge in the process! Finding her role very satisfying and enjoyable, Louise likes helping students throughout the reservation process; from viewings to the end of the tenancy. No two days are ever the same for Louise – which she likes – as she gets to meet various people. When asked what she liked about working with Leydon Lettings, Louise responded: “they offer a sincere and trustworthy service to students and landlords alike and we are keen to grow”.

Claire was welcomed to Team Leydon in 2020 as a Finance Manager and now has more than a decade of experience in accounts. Claire is a creative problem solver who loves a challenge and enjoys every aspect of the role, gaining knowledge from new challenges every day. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities to drive business growth, from financial record keeping and reporting to budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. When asked what she liked about working with Leydon Lettings, Claire responded: Being part of an enthusiastic team, led by the passion Bob has, which shines through from his years of experience and knowledge in the rental sector.

Katie joined Team Leydon in 2024 and has thoroughly enjoyed the role ever since! As a property Letting Agent, Katie is responsible for carrying out property viewings, overseeing property maintenance issues, arranging property certificates, and assisting new Landlords with onboarding with Leydon Lettings. Katie particularly enjoys the different challenges each day brings and the balance of being both in and out of the office, which allows her to meet a wide range of people. Outside of work, Katie loves sightseeing, walking her dog, and socialising with friends.

Zainab is a proactive and detail-driven Property Lettings Agent and Administrator with over seven years of experience at Leydon Lettings. Throughout my time with the company, I have developed a strong understanding of the rental market, tenancy legislation, and the full lettings process from enquiry to move-in and ongoing management. I pride myself on delivering a seamless, compliant, and well-organised service, ensuring clear communication between landlords and tenants at every stage. With a professional yet approachable manner, I am committed to safeguarding landlords’ investments while creating smooth and stress-free rental experiences. My interests include interior decoration and styling properties to enhance presentation, health and fitness with regular gym training, staying active through sports, cooking and experimenting with new dishes, and travelling to explore different cultures.

Danny joined Team Leydon in 2013 whilst on a ‘year in industry' from Bournemouth University. Having graduated in 2013, Danny enjoys the student environment and proposing new concepts and designs to make the company more approachable and relatable to students. Whether it’s puns, designs, adverts, or general user experience, Danny always puts his target audience first. When asked what he liked about working with Leydon Lettings, Danny responded that he liked: “the sheer dedication and enthusiasm of everyone on the team. The passion that Bob has for renting luxury student property in Canterbury and the continuous effort he puts into learning is inspiring. Constantly striving for the safest houses and knowledge in the rental sector, Bob’s and indeed, Leydon Lettings' knowledge is second to none and this enthusiasm and passion is reflected through Team Leydon.”

Keeley joined Team Leydon in 2025 and has truly valued the experience and opportunities the role has provided since. As a Property Lettings Agent, Keeley is responsible for conducting viewings, answering enquiries, liaising with approved contractors, and arranging property certificates. She particularly enjoys problem-solving when difficult situations arise and likes how each day is different from the next. Keeley is excited to continue building relationships, growing her expertise, and delivering a smooth, positive experience for all tenants and landlords. Outside of work, Keeley enjoys dancing, shopping, and socialising with friends.
